I'm back again after a long gap...
13th April 2009. The first day at the school. New place with new environment.
With anticipation to enter my cabin, I went to see the Head Master (HM). Once i opened the door I was shocked to see the HM!!! The HM had been replaced with a new one. With the shock, I introduced myself to him. Explained about the project that is being held by NCER. Once my explanation ended, I received the key to my cabin. With a high hope, I walked unpatiently to the cabin.
Another shock came into me once I saw the cabin which is dark. Later, I get to know that the electricity not connected yet. At the same time I get to know that telecom have not yet connect the phone line. I called Mr.Raja Izwan to inform him about these. He asked me to call the contractor to ask him about these matter. I called the contractor. He said that he have submitted the required forms to TNB.
Then I took a look of my cabin. It was dirty and messy. The next step I took was cleaning the cabin. At afternoon, Mr.Wesley and I went to TNB and TM Point to chase them. TNB was easy to find as it is located in Nibong Tebal. Unfortunately, TM Point is located in Sungai Bakap. We went to both places and talk to them regarding this matter. We asked them to finish the work as soon as possible.
The first day was not has i expected. It was so tired.
14th & 15th of April 2009.
I started the morning with a good start.
The first thing that I did in the morning was going to TNB. Then came to school. I called TM Point to asked that to connect the streamyx as soon as possible.
Later, I cleaned my cabin. After that I went to buy things that are needed to clean the cabin. Next the contractor came and made a few minor touch-up to the cabin.
16th April 2009.
Today I arrived to school at 8.30am because I took bus to school. Unfortunately, the computer supplier arrived at school earlier by 10 min before me. I introduce myself to them. The electricity have not been supply yet to my cabin. So, I asked them to leave the computers in the school computer lab. I faced a few problems in arranging the computers in the computer lab. Fortunately the problems were settled.
After completed the arrangements of computers I went to my cabin and cleaned. During that time the electrician from TNB came to fix the cable and meter.
Approximately at 2pm Miss Diana and the computer technician came. The technicians arranged back the computers into the cabin and start to setup the computers and laptops. It's took a long time. The technician did not setup the server because the streamyx not yet connect.
I feel so happy because the TNB have connected electricity to the cabin. This is because for past three days there were electricity in the cabin. I'm also satisfied that the computers have arrived. The only things that have not been settle yet are streamyx connection, alarm and CCTV setting.
Hopefully, by next week these things are settled.
17th April 2009.
Once I arrived in school I called the contractor to repair the lamp. Then I also called TM Point to connect the phone line. Then I started to clean the cabin. At the time a guy from the CCTV shop came to setup the CCTV camera. Unfortunately he could not setup the camera because some wires missing. So, he decided to came the following week.
Later Mr.Wesley came to help me to do the particiant work.
Today I went back with heart feeling because the alarm and CCTV camera have not set yet. I felt because I'm going for two days of holiday next week.
Hopefully nothing will happen. Think positive...
